Lizzie & Nick celebrated their fall wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate on October 27, 2019. There could not be a more perfect venue to have an autumn wedding at. The weekend started on Friday with Lizzie & Nick's family and friends joining them for dinner filled with warm fires, lush florals and amazing food. The next morning it was a "rise and shine" kind of day that started with yoga on the grand lawn and ended with a woofle ball game amongst friends. Once we had a winner, the woman and boys went separate ways to get ready for the day. Lizzie got ready with her sister and bridesmaids and Nick with his parents and groomsman. After putting the finished touches on hair and makeup, Lizzie shared a first look with her dad and then with her soon to be husband Nick. After our first look, we had the whole property to ourselves for some of my most beautiful portraits. These photos will forever be some of my favorite I have ever taken. Followed by bridal and family portraits, it was time to get Lizzie & Nick married. A catholic wedding in the city was important to Nick. so Lizzie & Nick we legally married a month earlier in a small ceremony at St Patricks Cathedral. Even though they had already made it official, there ceremony was no less special. In fact, it was one of the most tender I have had the privilege to witness. Lizzie's family friend who is like a second father married them and shared some of the sweetest words with the Newlyweds, sealed it with a kiss, and sent them back down the aisle which was filled with gorgeous purple florals and an abundance of greenery. One of my favorite ceremony setups to date. It was setup with a mix of couches and chairs to keep everyone cozy on this brisk October day. After a cozy cocktail hour in the pavilion, the wedding party head over to the Grand Barn that was FILLED with more florals than one could imagine. From top to bottom, the barn was dressed in shades of purple and greenery. Guests were in awe. The mix of florals and abundance of candles made for the perfect cozy wedding reception. A few toasts, a lot of dancing and some of the cutest photobooth images I've seen from the same photobooth of Justin & Hailey Bieber, it was an amazing night and an even better weekend that I feel so blessed to have been a part of.
